Here is an excellent and beautiful 1965 Pontiac GTO Tribute coupe, one of 8,319 coupes built out of 75,352 Pontiacs in 1965. Car runs and drives great. This is a two-owner car with 77,000 original miles and is numbers matching. The car is a six-cylinder, two speed automatic with factory air conditioning which has been recently upgraded to classic air and has power steering and power brakes. The drive train is original with a Pontiac 215 CI 6 cylinder and two speed automatic (one of 18,974 of 75,352). The 215 cu. In. Pontiac 6 cylinder was only produced in 1964 and 1965. The slick black paint was applied not long ago with a deep rich shine and the body lines are straight with good gaps. The chrome and bright work is in excellent condition. Have to see to the car to really appreciate the work done. This little GTO recently won the best paint award at a local car show and has won many awards at local shows. The car is badged period correct GTO badging interior and exterior and is in excellent shape. Features and recent improvements include retractable seat belts, outside remote mirror, new radio is a custom auto sound AM/FM , 300 watt receiver with Aux. inputs for I Pod, MPS3, DVD, etc., original vinyl interior, new head liner, new rear coil springs, new tires and Crager S/S wheels . Only reason for selling the car is I just purchased another car and am out of room. If someone was to put a V8 under the hood, no one would know it wasn’t a real GTO unless you contacted PHS, but why ruin a great car. It started out as Lemans Custom and became a great little GOAT.
