Vehicle Description
1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Resto-Mod - Styled After the Famous
Bullitt Mustang LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1967 Ford
Mustang Resto-Mod The 1967 model year Mustang was the first
redesign of the original model. Ford's designers began drawing up a
larger version even as the original was achieving sales success.
The major mechanical feature was to allow the installation of a
big-block V8 engine. The overall size, interior, and cargo space
were increased. Exterior trim changes included concave taillights,
side scoops, square rear-view mirrors, and usual yearly wheel and
gas cap changes. These exterior changes created one of the most
attractive Mustang body styles ever produced and among the most
desirable. As the 1967 Mustang fastback is already great looking in
stock form, it can only be improved upon with small custom touches.
This 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback offered is a great example of
tasteful modifications that increase the overall appearance and
driving experience of the base car. As per the Marti Report, it was
built new at the San Jose, California plant on October 3rd, 1966.
The previous owner loved the appearance of Steve Mcqueen's Bullitt
Mustang, so it underwent a rotisserie restoration with that theme
in mind. The car was repainted in its original color combination of
Y Code Moss Green paint and 6A Black Dcor Bucket Seats with fold
down rear seat. GT trim was added to increase the overall
appearance of this beautiful Mustang. The undercarriage was
detailed in the correct red oxide primer with assembly line
inspection markings and paint daubs. The A-Code engine was rebuilt
with the addition of Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, Holley
carburetor, Tri-Y headers and dress up kit. This is backed by a
5-speed manual transmission with a 3.25 rear gear for great highway
manners. Front and rear sway bars were added to increase cornering
ability. Braking duties are handled by OEM-style power disc brakes
in the front and drums in the rear. To finish off the performance
and looks are a set off 16-inch V45 Vintage Wheel Works wheels with
modern radial tires. The 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback is an icon of
pony car design and it has truly stood the test of time, as it is
considered by many to be one of the most important Mustang models
ever produced. This car comes fully documented with the
comprehensive Marti and owner's manual. Don't miss the opportunity
