This 1968 Chevelle we have here at Skyway Classics is a real deal
SS 396 car. It is fully restored, with factory buckets black
Interior and has had a color change to a sweet looking
Burgundy.
Mechanical
Our Chevelle has been upgraded to a more powerful 1973 454 engine
that resides under the hood and is backed by a 4-speed transmission
and a 12-bolt rear end with a suspension set of upgrades. It has an
aluminum intake, factory chrome valve covers, performance carb,
chrome open air cleaner and more.
The headers run to dual exhaust with an H-pipe and turbo mufflers
that sound excellent. Performance brakes all around really improve
the stopping power for this muscle car.
Interior
The Black vinyl interior goes great with the burgundy pain. Bucket
seats and a center console with the 4-speed shifter looks great in
this Chevelle. A performance tach goes well with the factory gauges
to keep an eye on all engine functions.
Exterior
The deep dark burgundy paint looks nice and the body has great
chrome trim bumpers, SS 396 badging, dual hump hood and custom big
& little 5-spoke wheels look phenomenal. The 1968 Chevelle is an
icon for its muscular lines, 4 headlights, and it has the big cubic
inch engine that backs up the look of this iconic muscle car.
