Vehicle Description
The Jeep has perhaps one of the most storied histories of any
American-made vehicle, with the production of the same basic
concept and design lasting since inception during WWII to now.
While a brand new Jeep may be a far cry from the original Willys,
consumers and enthusiasts of all kinds have been attracted to these
timeless icons as long as Jeeps have been available. The CJ
(Civilian Jeep) designation was used from 1945-1986, at which time
the classic Jeep received it's first major redesign and became the
Wrangler.
This gorgeous blue CJ-7 is in the final few years of production of
the CJ, and looks as good as ever! The blue paint against the
various chrome accents is a great combination, giving this Jeep a
unique appearance. The aftermarket polished wheels and mud tires
really tie it all together! The body is clean and straight, covered
in a gorgeous gloss blue paint job. With soft doors, a full soft
top and a bikini top included with the sale, this Jeep is ready to
go for all your needs year round! Something about the dark blue and
the black doors really makes it stand out, and gives it that
classic CJ Jeep look.
If you've driven a Jeep, you probably have thought "I wish this was
faster" at some time or another. Whether you have or not, rest
assured this CJ-7 is faster than your average Jeep...much faster!
Someone installed a Roush Yates Ford Performance 392 V8 motor and a
5-speed manual transmission. Whoever performed the installation did
it correctly, as it looks like it could've left the factory this
way. However, to put this kind of power in a short wheelbase
vehicle like this is as glorious as it is borderline insane! This
thing is a blast to drive. The transmission is a Dodge NV4500, and
both axles are Ford 9"s with 4:30 gears. The rear end has traction
lock. Everything functions as it should and it is turn-key.
The interior is minimalist, as any good Jeep should be, but the
brown seats are the perfect accent against the blue. Finished in
what appears to be a marine-grade material, getting caught in a
little rain isn't a concern. The materials are from Bestop, a
company well-known in the Jeep community for making durable
interior components. A modern radio is mounted in the locking
center console so you can listen to tunes the modern way without
ruining the classic look or worrying about theft!
Truly dialed in from top to bottom, this Jeep is a summer of fun
waiting to happen! We doubt you'll bump into another one like this
at a local show, and anytime you go out all your friends will want
to take your CJ. If you've been waiting for the right Jeep to come
along, don't pass this one by!
