Vehicle Description
There's something just so special about a straight, early 1960s
Chevrolet Nova. This 1962 Chevrolet Nova is a good example of why.
Featuring a clean red paint job, a small block Chevy 350, and a
3-speed TH350 automatic transmission, this Nova coupe is ready to
be enjoyed on the open road.
Sure it's great to buy a car already finished, but we all know how
much fun it is to say you put it together yourself! This is a
stalled project that someone got very close to finishing, but
turned their focus to something else prior to completion. The
exterior is in great condition having received a full repaint.
There are some small areas of paint separation above the rear
wheels that will need to be addressed, but the majority of the
tedious work appears to have been completed. The paint appears to
be very close to GM's Victory Red of the 1980s/1990s and looks
fantastic on this little car. The chrome Vision wheels really set
off the red paint and complete the Nova's hot rod look. Much of the
glass has been removed, but the door glass is included with the
sale.
Under the hood sits a classic Chevy 350 small block. This engine
has been gone through, but hasn't had anything wild done to it in
order to keep this car a comfortable cruiser. Because the Nova is
such a small car, you really don't need much. The three-speed TH350
automatic transmission is ready for an even more enjoyable cruising
experience, and as a whole this car is on its way to being a show
stopper. This is an affordable, classic car that won't break the
bank and is manageable for in-town use. Some assembly required!
The interior is black which makes for a lovely combination with the
red exterior. Once inside the car, it doesn't feel quite as small
as the exterior appears to be, but it is certainly no Suburban. It
has the classic look just about everywhere, but the next owner will
need to acquire parts and continue reassembling the interior. What
of the interior that is already in place is very nice, and a few
finishing touches will make this car look like new. This is a car
that appears to have been put together right, but needs someone to
button it up.
If you're looking for a unique little project car with the end in
sight (and that won't break the bank!) then you won't find much
that is as enticing as this. It has that classic look to it and
something about the way it looks is sure to draw a crowd. This is a
project Nova that needs a loving home and some final assembly!
