She's a sweetheart! That's what I refer to as an unmolested, extra
clean, honest car. One that looks, feels, functions like new. One
that has always lived a clean life, not resurected from the dead.
This one has belonged to the same family in South Carolina until
just recently. Always garage kept. The 66-67 Nova sport coupes are
highly desirable. Good looking cars that make great hot rods!
EXTERIOR: Pristine virgin body. No rust or damage. Believed to be
all original metal. Every panel is absolutely straight. The gaps
are square and flush. Both doors click shut, I love that! Repainted
it's original beautiful Tropic Turquoise color. The finish is
better then original. Polished smooth and glossy. Jambs are slick.
Weatherstrips are soft. All the glass is clear. All the stainless
is straight and shiny. Grill, emblems, taillights are all
excellent. Hubcaps are mint.
INTERIOR: Very well preserved interior. It shows really well. The
upholstery is excellent with one small split in the fabric. Door
panels, headliner and visors are mint. door panels headliner visors
all look great there is one small split at the scene The dash area
is real sharp. Dash pad is mint, the original AM radio is still in
place, heater controls and knobs look good. The steering wheel is
mint. Overhead light works. It has Deluxe seat belts.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It's about as tidy as they get. The metal is
all clean, finishes are smooth. Everything is installed properly.
Completely stock, no aftermarket parts. Correct air cleaner, valve
covers, manifolds etc. The motor runs as quiet as a mouse in
slippers.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Spotless. The trunk floor and inner 1/4s are
perfectly clean metal with a durable coat of spatter paint. Has
jack and spare. Bottom of trunk lid and jamb are painted as slick
as the exterior.
UNDERSIDE: Amazing! It has such clean virgin metal underneath that
they chose not to paint it. Instead it was sprayed and wiped with a
rust preventative oil to preserve it. It still shows the factory
primer on the floors. It's only original once, after it's been
painted you won't know what's under it. Completely dry original
metal. Spotless factory seams and pinch welds. The front end was
completely rebuilt, the metal components are clean, still shows
some assembly line paint markings. Bottom of the motor is clean,
has flywheel cover in place. Fuel pump and starter are clean. The
Powerglide trans looks clean. New shocks in back. Exhaust looks
recent. If you have been under lots and lots of old cars like I
have, you will appreciate this underside the most.
I cant praise this car enough as far as being an unmolested,
straight honest car. Absolutely impressive the way it is. If you
are looking to build a hot rod, this the perfect car to start
with!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
