Ford built the pre-war woody wagon from 1929-41. The 1939 model is considered, by many, to be the most attractive of all the years’ designs with the front head lamps incorporated into the fenders. A truly remarkable quality and expensive build similar to that of a wooden boat. These Deluxe Wagons had a solid wood construction from the front windshield back. They were made of maple with birch or gumwood panels. This solid wood sat on the metal frame. A stunning example of hand made construction from another era.
