Car and paint are all original with subtle upgrades, including Turbo oil cooler and track rod ends. Wevo shift and linkages are a great improvement on the original. Even the cruise control works. Black leather seats and interior in great shape with no scuff marks. Air conditioning upgraded at 46,000 miles. Suspension and steering bushings and engine/transmission mounts replaced at 52,000 miles. Targa top in great condition with no rattles or leaks although rarely used. No leaks and no oil used between annual changes. Carrera timing chain tensioners and pop-off valve installed and Dilavar studs replaced at 23,000 miles, plus a new clutch while the engine was out.
Complete maintenance records with mileage and costs. I try to drive it regularly to keep everything working and almost all work since 2000 has been normal maintenance, except for front wiring loom replacement two years ago after a short. Car is a joy to drive and turns heads whenever on the road. Nice thing about the Targa is that it can be driven with the lid off in hot or cold weather with either the AC or heater on full blast and still feel comfortable.
