This is a Series 62 four door sedan, completely restored. It was brought from North Dakota, a family barn find, all intact, so it's 98% all original with a flat head V-8 engine and 151 horsepower. Power steering and brakes have been added along with an oil filter (it has the original oil separator). This is an authentic post WWII historic vehicle. The fender skirts and new sombrero hubcaps have been added. It is a beauty, winning best of show in multiple car shows. The rebuilt original engine has less than 1500 miles on it. The after market bonnet was on it, along with an extra lengthy antenna so we kept those.. A CD player has also been added. Beautiful perfect upholstery and matching car mats, also matching the trunk. The engine is spotless and rebuilt original. Beautiful perfect chrome fenders with the classic 1948 hood ornament.
This car belonged to my wife's great uncle in North Dakota, a tall farmer named Ben. They would say, "here comes Ben and his tank!" We transported it to Washington state for a complete frame-off restoration for $140,000. This car is truly a piece of history for Cadillac lovers.
