This is an all original, 2 owner example that was sold new by Fred Smith Lincoln of Independence, MO on March 29, 1984. Since, this Signature Edition Continental has traveled just 46, 141 miles and remained in the constant care of its original owner until 2011. The car changed hands only once to an avid enthusiast until our recent acquisition. As a result, the car remains in amazing original condition throughout.

The car features its original 2 tone Dark Red Metallic and Silver exterior paint, all original Grey interior, original 302 cubic inch V8 engine, transmission and drivetrain. The original paint is remains excellent and the exterior, although not 100 percent perfect and it does show a mark or two, is remarkable. The paint, chrome, trim and bright work are is excellent and is finished off with optional wire wheel covers and signature arched trunk lid. The original interior is excellent in all areas and features leather bolsters, crushed velour seat inserts, light wood trim, electronic command center, automatic climate control, power seats, Valentino trim, leather wrapped steering wheel, keyless entry, etc.

The Lincoln Continental has always been synonymous with luxury. Lincoln made deliberate efforts to keep their cars a cut above the rest with their special edition and signature series cars. A preserved example as the one offered here is not only a future collectible, but also just a darn good car. Hard to say no at the price offered here.
