Vehicle Description
1970 Plymouth Cuda 440 Six-Pack For Sale - 4 Speed Pistol Grip,
Beautifully Restored LMC is proud to offer for sale this 1970
Plymouth 'Cuda 440 Six-Pack. The Plymouth Barracuda and sport model
'Cuda variant had very humble beginnings. Starting out as a
redesigned Valiant set to take on Ford's incredibly popular
Mustang. Although it didn't take off in popularity like the
Mustang, it developed a loyal following. In 1970, Plymouth decided
to step up its game and while the design/name only lasted until
1974 the 'Cuda has gone down in history as one of the most
attractive and desirable muscle cars ever built. The 1970 model had
the new E-body which was shorter and wider so removed all
commonality with the Valiant. For 1970 Barracuda/Barracuda Gran
Coupe/'Cuda line up had many powerplant options ranging from a new
198 ci six to the mighty 426ci Hemi. Just below the Hemi powerplant
in terms of horsepower was the 440ci Six Pack which was considered
by most a better engine on the street. Best of all, this entire
package could be had for roughly half the price of the Hemi's
$830.65 admission ticket. Street racers went wild, ordering them
like lollipops. This factory "V" code 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda 440 Six
Pack shows beautifully in the extremely rare and sought after EW1
Alpine White complemented by black hockey stick stripes and a black
leatherette bucket seat interior. Powered by a numbers matching
V-Code 440ci Six Pack engine with a 4 speed pistol grip
transmission, the car is complete with the Track Pack option with
3.54 ratio Dana 60 axle The Six-Pack's superb breathing is aided
further with the N96 Carb Fresh Air Package, more commonly known as
the Shaker. Slide inside this 'Cuda to find a black leatherette
interior consisting of dual front buckets up front and a
comfortable bench in the rear. To help the 'Cuda driver monitor his
or her machine, this car is equipped with the A62 Rallye
Instrumentation Package, which includes a tach, trip odometer,
150-MPH speedometer, and more. This 'Cuda has received a quality
restoration in its correct EW1 Alpine White colour with the
underside finished in the body color. Finishing touches include
trim mouldings, as well as rear window louvers and a rear spoiler.
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda 440 "Six Pack" there were only 902 4-speed
coupe versions ever produced. With a beautiful restoration,
numbers-matching 440 Six Pack engine and a 4-speed manual
transmission this 'Cuda would be a great addition to any Mopar
collection. Additional Details: 1970 PLYMOUTH CUDA 440/6PACK -
