Vehicle Description
A great opportunity to own a street and show rod that is absolutely
top shelf in every respect, we are pleased to offer this
state-of-the-art 1933 Ford Roadster. From its rare and original
chrome hood ornament to the Ford 9-inch Police rear brakes, the car
is packed with innovative ideas, clever engineering, and striking
beauty. The beauty is genuine, too. The car is titled as a 1933
Ford Roadster, and she's all steel. The engineering starts under
the bonnet with a 347 cubic inch Roush Ford small block that's
simply tuned to perfection. The response is astonishing! Up top is
the 8-stack Roush fuel injection system that works and looks
stellar. The headers are a thing of beauty too. They're just the
right size for the engine tune, and they fit neatly without looking
jammed in. The engine is topped off with a handsome set of finned
aluminum Roush valve covers. The builder is Mark Gissendaner, owner
of Pittsburgh's famed GIS Automotive. American Speed Company in
Nashville Tennessee manufactured the gorgeous '33 body. And as if
to prove Music City can produce more than music, Nashville's
Advanced Plating did the brightwork. This magnificent machine
wasn't just built, it was designed, as evidenced by its marvelous
paint scheme. At first your eye is drawn to the masterfully applied
black paint, then you notice it's a two tone car with a beautiful
Mercedes Benz metallic gray for contrast. But more subtle is the
deep maroon pinstriping that picks up the color of the awesome
Wheelsmith true spoke wheels. Pure genius. Another little
value-added extra is that the spinner style hubcaps are true 1933
Ford items. The top is black Mercedes Hartzcloth, one of the
world's finest soft top materials. But wait, there's more! A hard
top is included. And of course, not just any hard top. Master
fabricator Craig Naff worked his magic on this one-of-a kind piece,
complete with porthole windows. It'll be difficult to choose which
top to use the most! The deep burgundy all-leather interior is
right up there on the quality scale. You'll find billet pedals,
power steering with tilt, power windows, perfectly matched Classic
Instruments gauges, and the richest looking burled walnut trim you
can imagine. There's enough opulence here to make a Bentley blush.
And with the push of a button, the spare tire carrier moves up to
allow the deck lid to open swiftly and smoothly. There are lots of
great features, an impressive list of brand name equipment, and
some highly capable people involved in this build. But the final
test is what the car is taken as a whole. It has a stylish and
sophisticated look plus the all-important perfect stance.
Everything is expertly integrated into a high performing, highly
tasteful and elegant 1933 Ford Roadster that you will be proud to
own.
