The 1970 Pontiac Trans Am created such a sensation that it remained essentially unchanged until 1981. The design was revolutionary for its styling and aerodynamic innovation. The original, matching numbers 400 cubic inch Ram Air III resides in the engine bay. The transmission is the original Turbo 400 automatic that the car was born with as well.
