The Jeep has perhaps one of the most storied histories of any
American-made vehicle, with the production of the same basic
concept and design lasting since inception during WWII to now.
While a brand new Jeep may be a far cry from the original Willys,
consumers and enthusiasts of all kinds have been attracted to these
timeless icons as long as Jeeps have been available. The CJ
(Civilian Jeep) designation was used from 1945-1986, at which time
the classic Jeep received it's first major redesign and became the
Wrangler.
This gorgeous black CJ-7 is a next to last year production of the
CJ, and looks as good as ever! The black paint against the various
chrome accents is a great combination, giving this Jeep a unique
appearance. The brand new Micky Thompson chrome wheels really tie
it all together! The body is clean and straight, covered in a
gorgeous gloss black paint job. With soft doors, hard doors, a full
soft top and a bikini top included with the sale, this Jeep is
ready to go for all your needs year round!
If you've driven a Jeep, you probably have thought "I wish this was
faster" at some time or another. Whether you have or not, rest
assured this CJ-7 is faster than your average Jeep...much faster!
Someone installed a GM 5.3 liter LS motor and a 5-speed manual
transmission. Whoever performed the installation did it correctly,
as it looks like it could've left the factory this way. However, to
put this kind of power in a short wheelbase vehicle like this is as
glorious as it is borderline insane! This thing really, really
moves. Everything functions as it should, meaning the 4x4 is
working correctly, A/C is blowing cold and there are no electrical
gremlins to speak of.
The interior is minimalist, as any good Jeep should be, but the
brown seats are the perfect accent against the black. Finished in
what appears to be a marine-grade material, getting caught in a
little rain isn't a concern. Both the front and rear of the floor
has been coated in bedliner to make cleaning a snap, and for
durability for all of your outdoor adventures. A modern
vintage-style radio is mounted in the factory location in the dash
so you can listen to tunes the modern way without ruining the
classic look!
Truly dialed in from top to bottom, this Jeep is a summer of fun
waiting to happen! We doubt you'll bump into another one like this
at a local show, and anytime you go out all your friends will want
to take your CJ. If you've been waiting for the right Jeep to come
along, don't pass this one by!
