Vehicle Description
This 1976 Ford F-100 Ranger XLT is a great classic 4x4 with plenty
of originality, plenty of utility, and plenty of power from the big
V8 under the hood.
This pickup has a cool mix of vintage and ready to work. For
example, the black paint has the kind of look that will have people
asking if it's original, and it looks good against the up-level
trim of the Ranger XLT package. Plus, you'll enjoy the upgraded
look of details like the black wheels and running lights on top of
the cab. And the lifted 4x4 stance, rear step bumper, and plenty of
room in the long bed all remind you that this classic pickup also
still knows how to earn its keep.
Inside is a proper truck interior with some nice upgrades. It
includes a newer cloth seat covers, AM/FM digital tuner with
cassette player, and a grippy Grant sports steering wheel. And the
AutoMeter AutoGauge tach mounted on the steering column is
particularly handy with the stick shift. But we'll bet your
favorite feature is the sliding rear glass. After all, when you use
that with the side vent windows it gives you that ideal old-school
truck breezes through the cab.
Ford's 390 cubic-inch V8 is a terrific powerhouse for serious
power. It only gets better when the motor inhales deeply with a
Holley four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with authority as
headers feed a rumbling H-pipe dual exhaust. Over $7k was invested
in recent service and an MSD ignition all come together so that
this V8 fires up readily and delivers proper pickup power. The
four-speed manual transmission means you have complete control over
everything. Plus, the full four-wheel drive control can get you
deep into nature. And the power steering and power brakes w/discs
up front are great for the street or the trail.
This is everything you want in a true classic pickup, including a
value price. So don't miss out, call today!
