1948 Willys Jeep Truck DGT9987. Vin. 19987. This is a little Willys
Hot Rod PU. Set up with a 1979 Chevy 350 2 bolt main bored 40 over
with about 35,000 on it. Turbo 350 rebuilt from a 1981 Camaro with
trans cooler. Sub frame from a 1989 Dodge Dakota. Power steering.
Power disc brakes on the front. Rear end from a 1981 Ford truck.
You will not believe how nice this PU is to drive. I have been
driving it a lot. Had it on the freeway. And does it get the looks
and thumbs up. Everything works, wipers, turn signals, heater,
Pioneer AM/FM/CD player, horn and I'm not sure about the gas gauge?
I filled it up and I have been driving it a lot and the gauge has
gone down. The seller told me that the sending unit was not working
correctly. The right door is hard to open and the left door rattles
going down the road. When I take it in to get it serviced and
safety checked we will try and fix some of this. So if you want
perfect this is not it. But it sure is fun.
