This beautiful beast features a high revving 3.4 liter V8 engine
and a 5 speed transmission, both complimented by a stainless steel
Capristo valvetronic exhaust system. If you keep the exhaust valves
closed the decibel levels will remain within a polite range;
however, open the valves and this Ferrari becomes an absolute
animal, with a resonance so orchestrally sweet you can do nothing
but grin ear to ear. Without any accident history, this particular
348 Spider is a fine example of a 90's mid-engined supercar as it
has always been garaged and properly cared for. The interior
includes AC, Viper 3303 alarm system and DVD/CD in dash. With the
dual zone plus voice module security warning, people are warned to
back away if within 2 or 3 feet of the locked car. All rubber,
belts and seals have been replaced, the clutch, brakes and tires
have not had many miles on them.
The alligator leather convertible top cover is newer as well. The
convertible top on the 348 Spider is often referred to by Ferrari
mechanics as among the best convertible tops Ferrari ever produced
because of its simplicity and ease of use. The headlights shine
bright and very clear. Styled by world renowned Italian design
firm, Pininfarina S.p.A., the aesthetics on this Spider are
tastefully aggressive and grab lot of attention. The overall design
language of the Ferrari 348 was inspired by the Ferrari Testarossa,
also a timeless Pininfarina design success. LED running lights have
been installed, updating the front valance without losing the
iconic 90's looks. LEDs also illuminate the engine compartment.
