Vehicle Description
1980 Chevrolet El Camino
Why This Car Is Special
The 1980 Chevrolet El Camino we have in our showroom at Skyway
Classics, is a coup utility vehicle that was produced by Chevrolet
between 1959-60 and 1964-1987. Unlike a pickup truck, the El Camino
was adapted from a two-door station wagon platform that integrated
the cab and cargo bed into the body.
Mechanical
The 1980 El Camino started out the 1980s with few changes, though
engine choices were shuffled a little. The base V6 displaced 229
cubic inches, up from 200 the year before. Horsepower increased
from 94 to 115 hp.
The engine compartment looks factory stock with all correct hoses,
lines, air cleaner, valve covers, etc. A column shifted optional
three-speed automatic transmission is hooked to the engine and
sends the power to the ten-bolt rear end as exhaust gasses exit out
the crossflow single exhaust system.
Interior
Our El Camino has a black split-bench seat interior with most
factory options like air conditioning, Power Steering, Power
Brakes,
Stereo Radio, belts, floor mats, matching rear seat, and more
Exterior
The exterior is painted a candy red color with good body lines,
chrome trim and bumpers, chrome rails atop the bed, black racing
stripes, factory wheels, great tires, a bed liner, and a
sunroof.

1980 Chevrolet El Camino we have in our showroom at Skyway Classics

the rear bed to haul around anything you may need, and do it in a
