This is a stunning all original 1939 Chevrolet Deluxe Business
Coupe; she had a frame off restoration in 1961 and was then put
into storage for 35 years.
This is a restored example of the 1939 Chevrolet Deluxe Business
Coupe that has been carefully stored and maintained over the years;
it was owned by the previous owner over 35 years. The car is
finished in a rich Black with a complementary Gray Cloth interior.
The car has only had a few hundred miles put on her since she was
restored and she runs and drives perfectly. Overall, this is a
lovely car that runs and drives exceptionally well.
This 1939 Chevrolet Deluxe Business Coupe has the original drive
train (numbers matching) 216 CID inline 6 cylinder engine coupled
to the original 3 (on the floor) speed manual gearbox; also
original to the car. This is a wonderful return to the late 1930's
when American cars made a statement! This specific example is in
outstanding condition and could be driven everyday if desired and
if in the right climate. The engine has plenty of power and the
gear box is smooth and overall, it is just a joy to drive. She has
been stored in the south and in winter for her entire life so there
is no rust and the paint is excellent. You can be sure that when
taken out, this car will get more than her fair share of
attention.
