Vehicle Description
This 1978 Chevrolet Silverado 4X4 pickup is powered by a rebuilt LS
fuel-injected 5.3-liter V8 engine producing 300hp and 300 ft/lbs of
torque with a rebuilt 700R4 automatic transmission. The Dyno Sheet
is provided. This LS has a new hi-performance camshaft, lifter, oil
pump, timing chain and valve springs. The fuel supply system is all
new from FiTech. The wiring and fuel return lines are all new and
added to the in-tank fuel pumps with new switching valves and dash
switch. The overdrive transmission was built with a mild shift kit,
and the NP208 transfer case is original but rebuilt. This truck was
completely disassembled and professionally sanded, blocked and
sprayed in Elkhart Lake Corvette Blue with several coats of Tamco
clear coat. The sheet metal and frame were rust-free to begin the
restoration process, which was completed in March 2019, and all new
body bushings, nuts and bolts were used to put it back together. It
features all-new chrome, trim and badging. The entire cab was also
sprayed on the inside with matching paint and has all new weather
stripping throughout. The front clip is brand-new using parts to
fit a 1986 Chevy 3500 with upgraded LED lights. The interior
features a brand-new tilt steering column, seats, door panels and
the new Dakota Digital display. It also features a new sound
system, chrome trim and knobs. It's sitting on a 4-inch lift,
including all new springs, bushings and shocks, and rides on new
20-inch custom chrome Mayhem wheels and Nitto Trail Grappler M/T
tires.
