Vehicle Description
This 1987 GMC K20/Sierra Classic 2500 4X4 Pickup is a beautiful
truck. Very clean and great looking. This was a 2 Owner Truck that
spent its life in Northern Michigan as an occasional driver for 3
months out of the year. This truck was rarely driven in the winter
and the truck has around 59K miles and according to the 2nd owner
the miles are actual. Based on the condition we tend to agree. The
body on this truck is in great condition. It was repainted at some
point in its original color of Black because of the notorious GM
Clear-Coat issue from that era. The paint looks wonderful and they
did a great job on it. When it was painted the truck was de-badged
to give it that clean look. All of the body panels and paint are
nice and straight. The truck was Ziebarted when new which explains
why it is still in such nice condition. The interior is very clean
and looks to be original except for the dash cover. Obviously very
well cared for. It still has the original radio and original floor
mat.
Mechanically this 3/4 Ton pickup is excellent!! The last owner
stated the engine started having some pretty major oil leaks so he
decided to upgrade the engine last year. He replaced the original
engine with a 300HP 350 V8 that was professionally done. He kept
the original TBI for the engine so it is still Fuel Injected.
Transmission is a Turbo 400 that shifts great and it is mated to
the NP208 Transfer Case. 14 Bolt Rear Axle and 10 Bolt front Axle.
All of the Lights, Blinkers, gauges, Horn, Wipers work. This is a
wonderful running and driving truck.
