The Ferrari 328 was launched in 1985 as an improved variant of the Ferrari 308, which dated back to 1975. Among the changes was an increase in the displacement of the transversely-mounted 90* DOHC V8 engine, from 3.0 litres to 3.2 litres. The bump in displacement also gave the improved model its new name; 328 is shorthand for its 3.2 litre, 8-cylinder engine. The 328 is well-regarded among Ferrari enthusiasts for its reliability, durability, and ease of use relative to other Ferrari models. This example was sold new from Big Red Sports/Imports in Norman, Oklahoma. It is finished in classic FER 1240 Nero opaque paint over a VM8500 Nero leather interior, with matching Nero carpet and optional black leather dashboard.
