Just in, This is a nice restoration of a very solid 1970 Datsun
240Z that was from Southern California. Overall, this is a great
driving tour car that can be a classic daily driver or reserved for
weekends and car and coffee. We love the sleek lines on the car,
resembling a Ferrari GTO! Painted in its original Orange (Code
918), this was restored about six years ago by a collector of Z
cars. The repaint is in good condition for local car shows and has
a nice shine and luster. The bodywork is straight and the car
overall looks to be a nice car and would be a terrific car to drive
and enjoy. The chrome and stainless are in very nice condition,
including the bumpers, etc. The black vinyl interior appears all
correct and in very nice condition. All the instruments function as
they should. The car was restored to be very original and correct.
It even has its original carburetors, which these days is a rare
sight to see. The car runs and drives very well. The period correct
wheels look right on the car, and the wheel caps bear the Z logo.
The engine is the correct factory original numbers matching engine.
The 240Z was said to be in an accident many years ago when the car
was worth little. There is no evidence of any accident except that
the title is salvaged. This was while it was in California. The
present owners live in Scottsdale and have owned it for the past
four years. During their ownership it readily completed the Arizona
Governor's Cup Rally which is about 600 miles. Next year is the
50th anniversary for the 240Z and this would be a terrific one for
the show field. For more details, call or text Daniel Folk at
