This Corvette is one of 35 ever made and is in great condition. Last year of the C3! Original one owner car, always garaged and meticulously maintained. Purchased from Terry York Chevrolet, NEW in 1982, with 22 miles on it. White with red interior, AC, Auto, PS, PB, PW, PS, has every option you could get in 1982. Original interior in excellent shape, no rips or damage in seats. No cracks in dash. All gauges/radio/cassette work as they should (good luck buying new cassette tapes, but it comes with a few). Convertible top is in great condition with no rips or damage.
In 1977-1983, Chevy only made hardtop Corvettes. Ron Flint decided to design a convertible. Intermeccanica made a few for Ron but eventually made 35 total. THIS IS ONE OF THOSE CARS. After the design and limited production of these cars, GM was sufficiently impressed with the design team to award them the contract to design the C4 convertibles.
Some history.... Heinz Precter with ASC hired Intermeccanica and Ron to develop and produce a 1984 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. They sold the project to General Motors which became the 1985 (and later) Chevrolet factory convertible. Flint went on to start his own company called Flint Concepts.
