Grand Wagoneer by Classic Gentleman, leading buyer, restorer and seller of low mile, excellent condition Grand Wagoneers always has a prime selection of vintage Grands undergoing restoration works.
Many of these pieces, especially the Spinnaker Blue Metallic ones, are reserved before works are completed and never make it into our available inventory.
This '89 Spinnaker Blue Metallic Grand has lived her entire life, until our purchase, in the bone dry, no road salt ever state of Arizona. There really isn't a better state for a vintage car to come out from…. no question. Carfax confirms both the low miles and the lifelong Arizona registry along with no accidents ever being reported. Likewise, being a desert southwest Grand, she has a strong undercarriage and frame.
We purchased this Grand from the granddaughter of a Arizona collector that had a total of 6 Grands in his collection. Upon her inheritance of them, she knew he would want his treasured pieces placed with a top shelf operation lake Grand Wagoneer by Classic Gentleman.
Some highlights of our restoration works include:
• Full professional color conversion into rarely ever seen Spinnaker Blue Metallic
• New Wood Trim
• New Wood Siding
• New Windshield
* New window wipes & replacement of exterior chrome flexible pieces
• New white wall tires wrapping professionally refinished wheels
• New floor carpeting
• Leather portion of seats re-coated along with the steering wheel
• New headliner
Our mechanical & electrical sorting is likewise comprehensive along with MODERN FUEL INJECTION added to this '89 Spinnaker Blue Metallic.
Why buy from a Grand Wagoneer specialist? For us the answer is simple- our entire focus is on Grand Wagoneers and we know these unique vehicles inside and out. When you purchase a Classic Gentleman Wagoneer it has been thoroughly inspected and all necessary work completed by professional mechanics, some with over forty years of Wagaoneer experience. We purchase fine example Jeeps from a variety of sources including other dealers and private parties. We are often told by the seller, “My Jeep is excellent and needs nothing” however, being in this profession, we know to expect and plan for a great deal of sorting.
Remember the average age of these vehicles is thirty years more or less, and even with loving care many mechanical parts have aged and worn accordingly. Purchase a Wagoneer from a source other than a specialist and odds are that you may experience servicing and repair costs that may dampen your joy and enthusiasm for that Wagoneer that you always wanted. You may only own one of these in your lifetime, while we buy, fully sort and sell dozens and dozens per year. That is a lot of practice and when a Classic Gentleman Grand Wagoneer arrives at your home, it is a special occasion. It will be in beautiful condition and ready to drive and enjoy. Yes, our sales are as-is, but as you will see from our detailed service invoices, she has been looked after from nose to tail. Our goal is to see that the joy and enthusiasm of Grand Wagoneer ownership begins immediately with your purchase and that it will be there for years to come.
Be sure to have a look at our website's recommendation page where you can see first hand the positive experiences of a worldwide assortment of named buyers. We deal honestly and work hard to insure a happy buyer. You will never be pressured or chased for a sale but given all the time needed to insure if a purchase is right for you. Guided by these principals, our modestly sized niche dealership has built a loyal and devoted customer base spanning 5 continents.
Please ring us directly if one of our in restoration pieces enjoys your interest. We can provide you the vintage Wagoneer's preliminary document files along with details of the undergoing improvements.

If it seems like only yesterday that luxury automakers started rolling out sport utility vehicles, you’ll likely be surprised to learn that Bentley is introducing the second generation of its Bentayga, or that Bentley has produced more than 20,000 examples of its first-generation SUV. The launch features the Betayga V8 model, but Bentley says a […]

The plan was to plop an air mattress in the 1967 Volkswagen Type 2 Microbus and sleep in a van down by the river. It wasn’t a good plan; it was hardly a plan at all. The Deluxe Station Bus painted orange and trimmed in white with white steel wheels and mirrored hubcaps contained three […]

In a way, Briggs Cunningham was like the East Coast Carroll Shelby. He built race cars — even homologated a few. He had a Big-3 OEM deal at Le Mans, where his team won class. In another sport, Yachting, he commanded a sloop that won the America’s Cup. He didn’t need to be the salesman […]
For all his quirks, Henry Ford was a great American. He loved Americana. He gave the American middle class a new way to travel and in so doing, complete freedom of movement – affordably. He was friends with other great inventors, including Thomas Edison. Reluctantly, he helped Roosevelt beat the Axis powers in WWII as […]
