Grand Wagoneer by Classic Gentleman, Internationally recognized as a leading buyer, restorer and seller of low mile excellent condition Grand Wagoneers, presents another beautiful vintage Wagoneer in stunning Dark Baltic Blue Metallic. She has also been upgraded with MODERN FUEL INJECTION. Except for 4 brief months, our ’89 has been a deep south Southern Belle her entire 99,979 mile life. Thanks to never seeing a drop of snow or road salt, she wears a strong undercarriage.
Chrysler Corporation made the final changes and upgrades in the 1989 Wagoneer -these changes would carry thru to the 91’s- the last year of production. This included the addition of the overhead console – an upgrade “borrowed” from the popular Chrysler minivan. Production numbers began to decline in 89 -only a little over 10,000 were produced- down from a high of nearly 30,000 as Chrysler began its planned phase out of this iconic vehicle. Because of the low production numbers the availability of excellent condition, low mile ’89 Grand Wagoneers is quite limited- especially in the highly sought after blue and tan combination. Speaking of excellent condition, check out the images of this wonderful ’89. She is beautiful inside and out.
The Dark Baltic Blue Metallic paint is fresh and beautiful. Everyone loves blue Grand Wagoneers, everyone… That is why we work diligently to always have them in stock. That classic wood siding, sourced from Team Grand Wagoneer, was just affixed by us along with fitting the new wood trim that borders the siding. The original wheels were just professionally re-finished. The remaining exterior bits like the bumpers, center wheel caps, door handles and side mirrors, and so on, whilst not new, display just normal ageing and wear. They all still suit the finished Grand well.
The cabin is finished in the popular Sand color and is in excellent condition. The leather seats are as beautiful as the images portray. All of the carpeting on the floor, both in the cabin’s seating area and the cargo area, is new. Likewise the cargo area sides and interior tailgate are all wearing new carpeting. Just the carpet on the back of the seats and lower door panels, where the carpet receives no wear, is original. New Grand Wagoneer floor mats are also included to protect the new carpeting. The matching headliner is also brand new. Speaking of the headliner, please note that just the overhead console temperature and compass readouts are not operating along with the factory cruise control. (Which was rubbish even when new) The power seats, power door locks, power windows (tailgate window operates via dash switch only) and the power mirrors are all working properly. Same goes for the heat and air conditioning. The vintage looking FM Stereo also has Bluetooth connectivity.
The engine, transmission and the 4 wheel drive have all been serviced and are performing just as they should. And remember, with the addition of modern FUEL INJECTION, she is ready to hit the trail.
Both Carfax & Autocheck show no accidents ever reported along with lifetime sunny south ownership.
