Vehicle Description
This custom 1958 Pro-Touring Corvette Rest-Mod was built from the
ground up and is powered by a 6.2-liter LT1 direct-injected C7
Corvette engine that produces 460hp and 465 ft/lbs of torque, mated
to a 4L70E automatic transmission. It has a detailed engine bay
with smoothed firewall and sculpted fender wells. This car sits on
an Art Morrison GT Sport chassis with an IFS C7 front suspension
kit, a triangulated 4-bar rear suspension with a 9-inch rear end
and power rack & pinion steering. The frame was powder-coated in a
semi-gloss satin black, and the control arms and rear suspension
are polished aluminum. This Resto-Mod has Wilwood brakes with
6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers on 13-inch rotors and
provide stopping power to the staggered Budnik wheels. The body was
stripped down to bare fiberglass and blocked over until it was
laser-straight with great body gaps, lines and curves. It was then
finished in House of Kolor Jet Black with a House of Kolor clear
coat. Every piece of metal on the car has either been chromed or
polished. Its air conditioning is provided by Vintage Air with
period-correct vents. The Ferrari-inspired interior features
keyless entry, push-button start, imported Italian Alcantara suede
wrapped to match the dash and seats, and is attached to a chrome
Ididit steering column. The gauge cluster was replaced with Dakota
Digital HDS series gauges. **PREVIOUSLY SOLD ON ARIZONA BONDED
