Stunning looks. 9,160 actual miles. Only a few hundred ever made.
Has Ford mechanics, easy to service. This one cost $42,000 in
1985!
EXTERIOR: Low slung, long elegant lines reminiscent of the upper
crust society of the roaring 20s. Has metal body and hood.
Fiberglass fenders. Finished in a smooth, glossy candy apple red.
The chrome shines like a mirror. The chrome faux exhaust system
dresses up both sides of the car. It also features 6 chrome wire
wheels, big chrome headlights and driving lights. In back it has a
chrome trunk rack and taillights. There are also hand oiled teak
wood accents. The wing windows have etched glass. Front and back it
has chromed spring steel bumpers. The convertible top folds and
fits nicely but does have a couple patches. Has a tan boot to cover
the top when down.
INTERIOR: If your short or tall, it's fine. I'm 6 ft and fit
comfortably. The woman I bought the car from is tiny, she had pedal
extenders made which are included. The leather bucket seats are
adjustable, driver side has lumbar too. Has complete set of Stewart
Warner gauges in a wood grain dash. A very sharp looking polished
wood wheel with banjo spokes was just added to the tilt column. Has
seat belts, floor shifter and a stereo.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Completely stock Ford. The 302 V-8 has all the
factory manifolds, carb, air cleaner, pulleys, brackets etc. The
air conditioning, power steering is all factory Ford. The air was
serviced and updated with R134 freon. The entire compartment is
orderly and clean
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Completely carpeted trunk compartment. Also
included is a pouch with the jack and a car cover.
UNDERSIDE: Again it is Ford mechanics. Easy to maintain. Has disc
brakes and independent suspension in front. The trans is a Ford C-4
automatic trans. Has Mercury Marquis chassis that has been
stretched. Dual exhaust system.
This car will turn heads like your a celebrity. Easy to maintain.
Whatever you may need it is all stock Ford from the starter to the,
brakes, to the rear end. It is a quality build. It is sturdy, fits
nice, rides nice. You can be the Great Gatsby!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
