Vehicle Description
This 1970 Ford F-100 sport custom is powered by a 360ci V8 engine
backed by an automatic transmission and has 64,664 original miles
(the title reads mileage exempt). Its straight canvas is finished
in era-correct Turquoise paint with the original shade of Wimbledon
White retained on the roof for a two-tone appearance. The interior
has been kept in period-correct condition with black seats, premium
padded vinyl door panels, floor matting and dash pad. The simple
but easy-to-read gauges are in original condition, as well as the
factory steering wheel. The air conditioning is not working at this
time, but this vintage pickup retains its provisions for factory
air and is nicely presented with a walnut trim pattern. Within the
last two years the engine has been outfitted with new headers,
exhaust, carburetor, radiator and electronic ignition. In addition,
the front end now has disc brakes, and the front suspension was
taken from a Crown Victoria. The truck has been lowered and rides
on custom wheels. The mechanical work was professionally done.
