Chevrolet obviously did a lot right in 1969. Almost everything the
company produced that year has achieved a wide following that seems
to transcend several generations. Among that line-up, the '69
Camaro claims one of the largest enthusiast followings. That's why
cars like this impressive Hugger Orange Super Sport never stick
around our showroom for very long. The beneficiary of a detailed,
body-off restoration, this striking F-Body wraps a hot 396/4-speed
drivetrain in acclaimed aesthetics that are guaranteed to stand out
in a sea of Cranberry Red Chevys. So, if you love a nice,
factory-spec car, but favor a classic that commands attention,
enjoy the best of both worlds by grabbing this awesome Camaro!
THE HUGGER 'HUGGER'
The beneficiary of a detailed, ground-up restoration that still
shows exceptionally well, this awesome Camaro presently rolls in
better-than-new condition. Naturally, that detailed reboot began
with a straight and solid body. That massaged profile was sprayed
in brilliant Hugger Orange 2-stage, which looks especially dynamic
under bright white hockey stripes. All expected Super Sport trim is
present and accounted for, from the black grille and louvered hood
to the ornate emblems and Satin Black rear valance. Details like
polished mirrors, small bumper guards, a D80 deck spoiler and
optional quarter louvers add subtle retro spice. And today, this
spectacular coupe combines big block Chevrolet performance with the
kind of old school MoTown style that literally defines the golden
age of American muscle!
SS396
Pushing big horsepower straight from the factory, this Super
Sport's ferocious Turbo-Jet V8 is clean, classic and ready to
rumble! That engine funnels power to a tough Muncie 4-speed, which
spins a familiar 12-bolt axle. That spry drivetrain rolls on a
fully restored suspension, which stacks fresh AC Delco shocks
behind a factory sway bar. At the edges of that suspension, correct
power steering combines with correct power front disc and rear drum
brakes to provide greatly improved handling. Fried dinosaurs travel
through a fresh, true-dual exhaust system that's complete with buff
Flowmaster mufflers. And torque meets the pavement through
stainless-trimmed Rally Wheels, which twist 225/60R15 BF Goodrich
Radial T/As in front of 245/60R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/As.
INVITING IVORY
Open this first-generation Camaro's solid doors and you'll find a
Standard Ivory interior that's crisp and appealing. That fully
restored cockpit is centered on fresh bucket seats. At the front of
those thrones, a crack-free dash hangs factory telemetry next to
modern, direct-fit audio. At the base of that dash, fade-free
carpet floats monochromatic mats between ornate door panels and a
traditional Hurst shifter. And the driver turns a requisite Super
Sport steering wheel.
Combining timeless aesthetics with solid restoration and a rockin'
drivetrain, this carefully restored F-Body is the ideal car for
cruising AND showing. And if you're in the market for some revered
muscle with an unbeatable combination of style and performance,
it's a perfect candidate for your next classic!
