Vehicle Description
1962 Belair Sedan, 4 speed manual transmission, 409, dual four
barrels, and positrac. This car is the original colors autumn gold
with fawn interior. Seats have been recovered in the original style
material, the door panels are excellent originals, the dash is the
original paint. Correct style vintage sun tachometer. The car was
originally built at the California plant and lived in Texas for a
number of years, please look at the photos of the under side
because you can see the factory applied red oxide primer still
present. The rear wheel lips have never been puttied all the
factory spot welds are there. The trunk still retains the original
trunk spatter paint. It has the correct California one piece front
and rear bumpers. The engine is out of a 425 horse out of a 1963
and is an 814 casting with the correct 63 header style exhaust
manifolds with a good tight flow master exhaust system, it also has
correct high performance 690 casting heads with correct carbs that
have been restored and looks like new and runs the same. The car
starts with ease and idles with no help as soon as it starts. The
glass is clear and looks to be original with no scratches or chips.
The paint is showing some age with flaws and I would as always
recommend looking the car in person. I would say the front end has
been repainted and the car has been clear coated at some time of
its life. This car has 84,000 miles. Original Sheet metal Please
