This attractive MGB has service records and provenance that one
looks for when purchasing a 6 figure car! This car has been well
looked after with items, components, mechanical issues addressed and
repaired as needed with service tickets to support the actions
taken. The result is one really good, strong running and driving
example of a 78 MGB.The car has had a Weber Carb conversion that
has created along with the conscientious care a quick, tight, smooth
running and driving car.
The car has lived primarily in Ft Meyers Florida, rust is not an
issue. The car is a three owner car with all three owners taking
care of the car as needed.
The car shows no indication of accident history, all body panels as
well as panel gaps are factory razor straight.
The interior seats have been recovered in leather and are in
excellent condition.The carpets,dash,gauges,center console,all look
fresh and crisp. The top has been replaced but was lowered
incorrectly at one point and cracked a side plastic window.
Tires are deep in tread, wheels, center caps, and trim rings all look
brand new.
The paint has patina of age.The front rock guard bra was left on
too long with moisture and has damaged the paint on the hood.
The suspension bushings as well as rack boots have all been
replaced.The clutch,slave cylinder,brakes,alternators,turn signal
switches have all been looked after.
This is a fabulous driving MGB that is shy of perfection only in
its paint condition. The rest of the car is superb.
