Classic Car Marketing, Inc. Southern California’s premier marketing company is pleased to introduce this new listing offered for sale by one of our clients.
This 1937 Ford Slant-Back is all steel and is an award-winning, high tech rolling art sculpture crafted by builder Gene Wagner and Kustom K-Fab. Everything on this Rad Ride was carefully thought out to enhance not only the beauty but the functionality of every part of this creation.
Body modifications include a lowered front windshield, handmade firewall with billet aluminum surround supports, the wiper assembly set has been neatly tucked under the extended hood, and the Satellite radio antenna has been mounted and reads from under the paint.
Lengthened and blended door skins follow the running board lines, bear claw latches were added to the rear quarter panel pillars, and widened running boards flow into the rear fenders. The rear fenders were widened 1.5 inches, and the right rear wheel opening was hand-formed with a wooden buck and welded back in place to achieve a centered opening. Handmade rear wheel tubs fit flush to the frame for wider tire clearance.
Perfect power is supplied to the beast by a LS6 from Street and Performance, with fabricated aluminum covers over coils. Braided stainless hose and polished stainless hard lines plumb the drive train, and hand-fabricated polished stainless 2.5 inch exhaust feed into twin-chamber stainless mufflers backed by an over drive automatic transmission.
The computer, cruise control pod, air compressor and Air Ride control unit, and hand-fabricated air tank are all mounted in the X-frame cross members and covered with filler panel and belly pans for that clean look. The power steering unit has been chromed and covered with aluminum panel. The TCI chassis started as a rear leaf spring to a 9 inch drum rear end. Front end has air springs with stainless "A" frames and disc brakes. The rear was also changed to discs.
The completely customized interior reflects a well-thought-out and planned dash, with CNC machined bezels for the DVD screen and gauges; the DVD screen bezel doubles as the A/C vent grille. The console features CNC-trimmed bezels and billet roll top desk cover to conceal the heater, A/C, wiper, lighting, and stereo power controls. The seat bases house a DVD player, iPod, satellite radio, ride height controller and features CNC lower glove box door and DVD player bezels. $Call for pricing.
