Vehicle Description
1986 BUICK REGAL T-TYPE
The "T-Type" was a classification Buick gave to performance
versions of their models. The most famous was the GNX. While most
of the Buick line in the 1980's at one time or another got a T-Type
treatment, not all Buick's had the highly desirable turbocharger.
Our '86 Regal does.
This charcoal with gray cloth interior Regal was 1 of 1921 T-Types
made in '86. The stock drive train is the 3.8 liter V-6 with
sequential fuel injection, electronic ignition and a turbocharger
with an air to air intercooler. All this effort made 235 hp.
The brakes have been upgraded with a Wildwood 6 piston system front
and rear. The owner has invested $5,000 in a custom stereo
system.
Estimate: $25,000-$27,000
