1962 Mercury Monterey 4-door sedan. Awesome example of a true
rust-free surviver. Only 63K documented miles, two owner. Original
manual, original spare tire, jacks and even trunk floor mat. Buttom
of trunk and floors, body mounts, frame and all sheet metal look
dry and original as you can imagine. Gorgeous recent correct
refinish done in base coat/clear coat for that shiny wet look
(Ivory and Code X = Black Cherry). Older gentleman who loved his
pride and joy after refinish had put back on her both bumpers
rechromed, front and rear lite bezels, front and rear grills
polished and all trim polished. All the bright work looks new.
Weather stripping is also new. Full tinted glass is excellent.
Interior is all original showing pride of ownership and always
garaged, maintained and pampered. Very attractive inside. All
gauges are clean and working and original carpet and headliner.
Beautiful dash, no cracks in steering wheel nor armrests. Original
strong and tight 352/2 BL V8 stock 220HP, great shifting automatic
(C-4). Desirable and not often found these years with both power
steering and power brakes. Code 1 stock 2.89:1 highway gears. Brand
new $600 stainless dual exhaust, sounds just right. Brand new
radial tires (drives sweet). Cool looking metal skirts (for that
