1965 SHELBY COBRA REPLICA Listing: This is a 1965 Shelby Cobra 289
replica,with Everett Morrison body, and Tiara Motorcoach Corp
chassis. This Chassis was purchased because it was lighter that the
Everett Morrison. Every step was taken on this car to keep the
weight as light as possible. The engine is from a 1965 car as are
the heads. This car is totally rebuilt for racing purposes, 600 CFM
Carburetor that has extra work done to it. This car has a larger
cam for racing also, electric fan on radiator, new 12 terminal fuse
block, 4 speed top loader manual transmission with high performance
clutch. This car has disc brakes on all 4 corners with extra 8'
Ford rear end mounted pinion emergency disc brake that is driven
off the drive shaft to the emergency brake lever. This is a great
car for SCCA events with its all aluminum interior, trunk and under
the engine bay for light weight. Light headers that were
professionally built, aluminum wheels with the BF Goodrich radial
T/A, newer tires with great tread, 5 point Rj's Racing seat belts
on racing aluminum seats. All of the gauges are Stewart Warner,
with a new tachometer, new fuel gauge, and new fuel pressure gauge.
Also comes with hard top made from fiberglass that is not finished,
stainless side pipe guards, and a carpet kit that has never been
