Vehicle Description
For nearly thirty years the Wagoneer went virtually unchanged as
far as the body structure goes, making it the third
longest-produced one design in US automotive history. It was
introduced for the 1963 model year and was built under three
different manufacturers until its discontinuation in 1991. Quite
arguably the first design of the "Sport Utility Vehicle" offering a
sophisticated station wagon body atop a truck like chassis. These
vehicles were successful from day one, not to mention they have a
cult like following today. The last of the series, the 1987 through
1991 models are the most sought after. Chrylser took over for this
time offering upgraded wood siding, better color palates, rust
proofing and a much more comfortable cabin making certain options
standard. This particular awesome specimen is finished in what I
consider the best color produced of charcoal gray metallic. The
interior is like new with all in operating order including the
desirable electric rear window. This particular Wagoneer is free of
rust and rot and is in excellent original condition. This SJ has
had good service, clean carfax, good ownership with from what we
can tell is two owners. The brakes and tires are in good condition
and this rig is ready for its new home. Do not miss your
opportunity to own a great low mileage clean example.
