Vehicle Description
First generation Challengers were built using the Chrysler E
platform it shared with the
Barracuda, and these muscle cars had the Mustang and the Camaro
squarely in their sights.
With the 440 six-pack option pushing 390 HP, the factory
console-shifted Turbo-Hydramatic
cars like this one could also receive an optional "Track Pack" Dana
60 rear axle and a beefed up
rear suspension, allowing the Challenger to quickly gain status on
the street and the strip.
The Go Mango #2201 paint shines beautifully, with excellent chrome
and trim throughout, and
likewise, the black vinyl bucket seat interior is very clean and
has surprising room for four. The
car has a great stance and was rotisserie restored to a high level
of accuracy, and is fully ready
for any touring, track time, or car events the new owner desires.
Highly correct and fully ready
for the new owner to enjoy, this iconic Challenger is a
show-quality muscle car that is sure to
continue to appreciate for many years to come.
Bid on this car in person at the RAND Luxury Auction on October
12th.
