We have owned this Range Rover Classic since 1993 and the vehicle is currently still in California with us and is virtually rust free. I just uploaded new photos of the chassis and tailgate. The oil has been changed EVERY 3000 miles throughout its life and the engine is still the original and runs excellent. even though it has over 280K miles on it! It has NEVER burned any oil and just finished a thorough professional engine inspection. The license tags have been renewed every year and the car has passed its SMOG test with no problems every 2 years. I have only ever put premium gas (91 octane) in the car and drive it once a week for 10 - 20 miles. This car has been kept in excellent mechanical shape and doesn't leak anywhere, except one small weep from a power steering hose. We have all service and parts replacement receipts. Also included is a Factory Manual. Used off-road occasionally, hence slight bodywork issues and the paintwork is peeling so its not going to win any beauty contests. Modifications include custom exhaust that won't snag on rocks when off-roading, Posi-Trak rear end, upgraded sound system, reupholstered front seats, 2 inch lift, steel wheels, halogen headlights, polyurethane suspension bushings, dry cell battery,, and transfer box replaced with Land Rover earlier shaft driven version (more bulletproof than the quieter later chain driven version). Excellent tires, bull bar and custom rear bumper and side steps.
These vehicles are starting to appreciate quite well. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to own and restore a vehicle like this, while still being able to use it for what it was designed for. Please no time wasters.
