Very well sorted BJ7 Austin-Healey. This Healy was painted in 2015.
The total bill came to $29,142.88. The body was fully disassembled,
any rust was repaired or replaced prior to painting. The brightwork
was also replaced along with numerous other smaller parts and
larger systems such as a new exhaust. Earlier in 2015 another
$8,121.11 was spent by rebuilding the transmission, clutch and
suspension and numerous other details. The interior received a
restoration in 2013 which included seat restoration, New Carpet,
New convertible top with a new convertible boot. Included in the
sale is the maintenance records which dates back to the engine
rebuild in 2001. What I love about this Healy are the fantastic
driving characteristics. Looks are important and this big Healey
has those at every angle, but the sound of the inline 6 and the
feel of the wheel, the feel of the slight vibrations through the
seat, this open-air nimble sports car just aches for the turns in
the road. All of that is accessible with just the turn of the key
makes this Healey a winner. The work has been done, ready for
immediate enjoyment. Other notable points are, - 2912cc OHV
6-cylinder engine - Twin SU sidedraft carburetors - 4-speed manual
transmission - Front disc brakes, rear drum brakes - Smiths
instrumentation - Front and rear bumper guards - Factory left hand
drive model -Black soft top and boot -Knock-off wire wheels -
