Vehicle Description
STK 2652 1947 Plymouth Club Coupe Street Rod
Post-war models offered by the Chrysler Corporation were very
popular cars and remained largely unchanged through model year
1949. However, Chrysler never envisioned anything like this 1947
Plymouth Special Deluxe Club Coupe. Our builder created a one-off
masterpiece in 2004 that is stunning. Most mechanical upgrades are
based around a 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10. A custom boxed frame is
designed with 4-wheel independent suspension components from the
Viper. The 488ci V-10 (400bhp) fills the engine bay, but still
looks like a factory installation. It is mated with the Viper
six-speed manual gearbox and differential. Viper 4-wheel power disc
brakes provide stopping power and RT/10 17" alloy wheels mount
General radials. The coupe body, in Viper Red, is a work of art.
Paintwork is outstanding and doors have shaved handles (equipped
with poppers). All chrome trim and bumpers are excellent. The
interior is finished in tan leather and is also top-shelf. The '40s
dash holds a set of Classic Gauges and is fitted with walnut accent
pieces. Comfort and convenience features include A/C, power
steering, power tinted windows, tilt-wheel, keyless entry and
AM/FM/CD 6-disc changer stereo. A Dodge Viper Service Manual and
complete restoration photo album are included with the car. This
amazing '47 Plymouth Special Deluxe 'Viper' is ready for the next
summer cruise-in. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
