This 1984 Chevrolet Corvette race car competed in IMSA GTO with the
seller under the Greg Walker Racing name in the mid-1980s,
including a 4th in class and 15th overall at the 1986 24 Hours of
Daytona, and 5th in class and 25th overall at the 1988 24 Hours of
Daytona. The car last competed in an HSR event at Daytona in 1998
and subsequently resided at the Mark Martin Museum through its
closure, and then at the Race Place until the seller re-acquired it
five years ago. Features include a semi-monocoque structure,
independent suspension, a 4-speed transmission, and an alloy-block
350ci V8 which acts as a stressed member of the forward structure.
