This 1955 DeSoto Fireflite Sportsman 2-door hardtop is a one owner purchased new from Henningsen Motor Company, formally of Atlantic Iowa, and has a clear title. The car was complete and running when stored outside in 1971 and always protected with a car cover. An amateur red paint job over the original red and white two-tone paint has helped preserve the upper body. Exterior and interior trim was removed when painted and then stored. The seats are the original leather and cloth, though the leather has become brittle. Included are many matching exterior and interior trim parts, a radiator and transmission from a 1956 Firedome sedan. Buyer must pick up and the car's location in a back yard is somewhat restrictive. The actual location of the car is approximately 18 miles from Atlantic.
