1979 L 82 - 4 speed -T- top with original paint in excellent condition is an indicator of the care this beauty has been given over the past 41 years. I purchased the classic in 2005 and the car has been in the garage when not driven. Being extremely mechanically inclined I used her for relaxation during winters doing tasks such as; pulled the engine/trans in order to get a proper paint job on the motor and drive train. While having the drive train out; replaced spark plugs & wires, water pump, battery, battery cables, alternator, carburetor was rebuilt by a GM engineer, fuel pump and hoses, radiator and hoses, thermostat, belts, clutch, pressure plate, resurfaced flywheel, replace oil pan gasket, power steering pump and hoses, motor mounts, radiator mounts, brakes, brake rotors, brake hoses, master cylinder, rebuilt all drive shafts, tires, upgraded to the heavy duty rear end cover mount (GM recommended), dual Flowmaster 40 exhaust system, and installed new hood insulation. Also, installed new carpet and interior side door panels. Work was done less then 1500 miles ago. Parts were from Corvette Central.com world's largest supplier of original parts specific to corvettes only. Original operators manual and sales brochure. Priced below actual NADA values - high $50,135 - avg $32,580 low $23,505. NOTE: price has been lowered to $15,000.00 from $19,000.00 much below the value of this Classic. Actually, I have $ 22,500.00 invested in the classic Corvette so the new current asking price is firm and non-negotiable. This is an excellent runner, beautiful driver, highly sought after year, make, model (L-82 4 speed), and a sharp car. NOTE: the picture showing the new carpet in the storage area/battery box cover/area where the T-tops go while off the car looked faded which it is not. The sun was directly in the path of the photo, all the interior carpet (original black) is new and in excellent condition. The Classic was recently inspected by a local independent High Performance Shop recommended by the local Corvette Club.
