Vehicle Description
In 1969, Pontiac produced eight Trans Am convertibles. This car was
custom-built to be an exact re-creation of those special cars. It
is powered by a correct 400/366hp Ram Air III engine backed by a
Turbo 400 automatic transmission, which would have been correct for
the car as well. This car was a rust-free shell from California
that needed no welding or patch work. All chassis pieces were
brand-new and correct for 1969 Trans Am specifications, including
the 1" front sway bar. The only deviations from the stock
specifications on the car were the tires and the paint, which is
the correct color and scheme, but is base coat/clear coat instead
of enamel. This Trans Am is optioned with air conditioning, tilt
wheel, power windows, power steering, power brakes, power antenna,
power trunk release, Rally gauge cluster, tinted glass and a
fold-down rear seat. The sun visor is autographed by automotive
customizer Gene Winfield.
