The last of the air-cooled Porsche 911s, the 993 is the final evolution of the long Luftgekhlt lineage from Porsche. The 993 boasts all of the innovations and refinement that Porsche learned from building the 911 for 30+ years, creating a simple yet distilled package of excellent driving dynamics, everyday comfort and accessible performance. The C4S, first built for the 1996 model year, uses the same wide body as the coveted 993 Turbo and also used the same all-wheel-drive system that the Turbo was equipped with. With an incredible amount of mechanical grip, a direct driving experience with enough power to get into trouble with, the 993 C4S is a fantastic performer in all conditions.

This 911 C4S was completed by Porsche on December 11th, 1997, optioned in Glacier White over black leather. It was optioned with sport suspension, motor sound package, leather sports seats with electric height adjustment, HiFi sound package w/speakers, on-board computer, CD-radio Becker Porsche, cruise control, headrests with the Porsche crest, sunroof, and a rear window wiper. The C4S's first owner was Alejandro Quiroz of San Antonio, Texas. A Porsche collector at heart, he purchased the car in March of 1998 and ended up owning the car until it was sold to the second owner in July of 2015. He drove the car sparingly, adding an average of less than a 1,000 miles per year while the C4S was in his possession. He kept the car serviced while owning it and always stored indoors, and towards the end of his ownership he kept the car inside of his garage where it remained parked most of the time.

In January of 2015 Alejandro sold the C4S to a friend, a Porsche and Ferrari collector. Known to be extremely fastidious with his cars, the new owner had the car immediately thoroughly serviced and gone through. During his 3-and-a-half-year ownership, the second owner added less than 200 total miles. In March of 2019 the car was given a comprehensive servicing at Park Place Porsche in Dallas, Texas.

When the Glacier White C4S arrived at Canepa, it was exactly as described and a noteworthy example of what an excellent 911 can look like when taken care of. The interior was in the same excellent condition, presenting as though the car only had a quarter of the miles. The C4S also has the popular rear twin grille installed, standard on C2Ss and inspired by the original Carrera 2. The car was immediately scheduled to be receive the "Canepa Difference", an extensive mechanical inspection and full concours-level detailing process. The car was given a comprehensive cleaning of its underside, engine bay, interior, and all other surfaces of the car until they were spotless. The original factory Glacier White paint finish was polished to perfection using only foam pads and polish, and the original interior needed only a light cleaning to look show ready.

This 911 C4S boasts the best of the best for the final lineage of the air-cooled 911s in an excellent package that has been carefully looked after 21 years. A rewarding driving experience, the intoxicating sound of the rear-mounted flat six engine and timeless design all keep the 993s high on the list for many Porsche fans and drivers alike. It's now your opportunity to jump into one of the best driving 993s made to date, and understand what makes them special to so many people.
