Priced to sell!
I am putting for sale my 1966 Coupe De Ville Cadillac, black paint with black interior. The car is solid to drive or a great start if you want to further restore it, I have to let it go as I do not have the time to put on it and do not have a place in my garage to store it.
The odometer shows 45,983 miles but I do not think is accurate, perhaps it already rolled over, the car starts runs and drives normally but it needs a new battery.
Recent work includes flushing the gasoline tank and adding seals on the steering pump, the previous owner did some re-upholstery on the seats and headliner and a fresh coat of paint, however, there are some dry paint drips on some areas, I think they sprayed it too fast and I was planning on sanding it to the metal and repaint those sections.
The good:
-The engine has good compression and runs well, still can make burnouts!
-Interior is all complete, recently reupholstered
-Speedometer and gas gauge work, all switches and knobs are there
-Power windows work
-Paint in good shape, minor issues, a cheap quick fix if you want it to be great
-Not so common to find a 66 coupe at this price and condition
The bad:
-Needs new battery
-A/C doesn't work
-May need new tires down the road
-Missing the trim on the front sides of the headlights and the rear window
-Some rust on the base of the rear window
-There some rust spots on the chromed rear bumper
The car is located in El Cajon California, if you buy from out of town or out of state you are responsible to send your own transport but we can help to load the car. I am willing to negotiate but not lowballers or trades, I am not in such a rush to sell it so I will not discuss ridiculous offers. Title in hand under my name.
I have tried to best describe the car's current condition, but still, is a 1966 car so is far from perfect.
