This 1987 560SL classic convertible was originally purchased in Southern CA, where it was garage kept and meticulously maintained. No rain or snow on this car. My father babied this vehicle but when new cars filled up his garage it was time to part with it. My father wanted to keep it in the family so he gave it to me in 2008 and I shipped it to the east coast on a flatbed with the promise that it would always be kept in the garage and kept out of the rain and snow. It has been garage kept ever since and the exterior and interior are in fantastic condition and it runs like a dream.
It has beautiful lines and the big V8 is a thrill to drive in convertible mode with hard top off. It is definitely a head turner when you take it out. I hope the new owner will get the same enjoyment our family experienced for decades.
