1966 Thunderbird Convertible for Sale
“Fire Engine Red”. This car looks like it is speeding even if it is just standing still. This “bird” comes with a black interior and white convertible top. This car has the dependable 390ci engine. Has plenty of power and just cruises along. The convertible top is hydraulic operated (all new parts), which was ahead of its time, This car also includes a “Dealer added Roadster Package” which turns this beauty from a 4 seat to a 2 seat Roadster (Also Fire Engine Red and Black Trim). This is a loaded auto including Automatic, P/S, P/B, P/W A/C, P/Driver Seat, working vacuum operated door locks (original when the car was produced in 1966, Brand new White walls, and AM/FM stereo (Speakers are set in the “original locations for front and rear, and much more (paid receipts/documentation included with purchase).
A lot of time and money has been spent to make this a beautiful looking cruiser, that can be a fun “daily driver”, as well as rallies, and local shows. The “Bird” has been gone over fully both Electrically, as well as Mechanically (all receipts are included with the car. Over $10K invested, and also includes initial inspection report done prior to purchase in 8/18). Anything that needed to be fixed and/or replaced was done. The body is in good shape, and details really well. Rate as an 8/10 for a daily driver, or local car rally. This is not a concours type of car. Bought the car 8/18, and have driven a total of 1K since then. Garage kept. I have a clean title. This car was appraised (which is documented and included with car) at $40K - $45K. Car has 91,600 “original” miles (Odometer was inspected, and has not been tampered with.) Average “driven” life of car is approximately 1455K per year.
Love the car, but priorities for the family have changed, so am looking to sell at 19K Or Best Offer. Will not give the car away, but will consider all “reasonable” offers. The location is Venice, Florida. Cash is always king, but bank transfer works as well. Not looking to trade. Many pics included, plus more if needed. Contact at [email protected], or call at 913-972-8689, or PM me on Facebook. Do not need any “outside help” to sell. If looking for an “special” classic that gets many great comments and “Thumbs Up”, this is the one you should look at.
Thanks
Alan
