1965 Mercury Comet Caliente Convertible in bright red with black
interior. Chrome and brightwork really contrast the nice red paint.
This was originally a yellow car based on the color code, and has
been repainted to red. Under the hood is a Crate 302V8 with about
3000 miles since it was installed that is paired with an automatic
transmission. Also under the hood is chrome valve covers, HEI
ignition system, and a chrome air cleaner. This car is equipped
with power steering as well. This vehicle originally started out as
a California car and has had a full frame-off restoration and looks
great. Recently installed a brand new black vinyl convertible top
which is a power top. Nice and straight vehicle with well fitting
doors. Odometer reads 23,000 miles. Interior is mostly stock with
black vinyl bench seats and stock dash with the exception of an
aftermarket stereo installed under the dash. Door cards, carpeting,
seats, and dash all in nice shape. Great running and driving
